Same as before I do not own one but I have heard positive comments on them as far as accuracy and fair triggers. I may have been a bit harsh with my comments with savage triggers as in these days of lawyers and lawsuits good triggers out of the box are rare and I was disgusted with the Savage Striker I had, but the rifles may be better. I have read at a other site that the guys that have the Marlins like them and I think the triggers are designed that they can be improved by a gunsmith if you so desire. 17's in any make have had the reputation for shooting great so I think what ever you buy you will be happy with and of course you can test the trigger before you buy it. I know dryfireing a rimfire is not a accepted practice but I would bet any rimfire handled on the rack gets dryfired a lot by guys before it is sold so I am sure the one you buy will be too so test the trigger and if you get a gun out of the back room that has not been on the shelf so much the better but I would still test the trigger before I bought it. I wish I would have done that and saw the websights about Savages triggers before I bought that Striker. Jim
