Duck Mount
« on: October 05, 2006, 08:56:32 AM »
I am considering playing around w/ trying to mount a duck this fall.  I know it will probably look like a retarded chicken when I get done w/ it, but it is a cheap experiment.  Does anyone know 1. How to select a good specimen.  ie, does shot holes, blood on feathers, broken wings make a big difference?  I know the cleaner the better but what can you get by with? and 2. How do I freeze it correctly?

Thanks,
Buckskin
