I have one of the Pine Ridge ML scopes I got on ebay for $25, the view thru it has a yellowish hue to it and is somewhat cloudy, same for a Tasco that I gave to a friend cuz he was needy. I have several Bushnell Banners that all cost less than $100 and are excellent budget priced scopes. I would recommend any of them over the low end Tasco or Simmons and Pine Ridge scopes.
For just a bit more money, the Trophy scopes are also excellent.

+1 for the Banner. I have several and am satisfied with each. They are mounted on NEF centerfires.
