draw loc
« on: October 11, 2006, 02:29:00 AM »
due to a torn rotator cuff,
i need to install a draw loc or some kind of mechanical release setup on my bow, or i am out for at least this bow season.
the nys dec is going to issue me a special archer permit.
does anyone know where i can get one of these contraptions for a reasonable price?  i saw one online called a draw loc..but they want $150 for it.
due to the fact i am out of work  with this injury, i dont have the extra money to buy one of these things
maybe someone on here has one they dont need anymore, and would be willing to part with it?
just thought it wouldnt hurt to ask around.
i get surgery on nov 7th...then i wont be able to use my left arm at all for a month or more.
being left handed....i can still hunt with my .35 rem contender. as long as my son is out hunting with me.
      so..that is my world.....
thanks for the post

Sorry to hear the bad news. Does NY State regs allow crossbow? Maybe that is an option if you can beg, borrow or steal one!
