I don't care for rimless cartridges in single shots.  I think this round would have been great in the Handirifle.  I suppose a .223 or .22-250 could be rechambered for it.

 I have to agree with you, But I have 2 rim less handi's 204 & 223.
 I think you couldrecamber a 223 to 225, I don' know about the
 22-250, Shoulder diameter might be to large for 225 reamer to clean up the camber.
 Just my 2 cents. Marv.

In the late '70s I rechambered a H&R Topper 22 Hornet to 225 Winchester. Worked great. And that was using the old case hardened frame. An SB2 would be even better.

you would have to use a .223 the 22/250 is a fater case .ihave seen a 225 shoot the pants of a22/250
the one i am talking was built on a 98 action, it took quite a few state titles in benchrest here in west
 oz.that was about 27 years ago. heres the specs on each case.

Yes, brass is available. In fact some of the custom chamberings are based on the 225 Win case.

Another thing to consider: If you rechamber a 22 Hornet barrel, the extractor/ejector will not need changing.
