200 gr. Shockwave ballistics info??
« on: October 12, 2006, 11:34:57 AM »
Could anyone help with finding or pointing me to some info please. Plan on using 200 grain Shockwave sabots with 100 grains Triple Seven (pellets) for deer season this year but I can find any charts on bullet drop out to 200 yards for the 200 grain bullets.
I have the info for the 250 grain sabots out to 200 yards but cant find anything for the 200's to save my life. Anyone have the info Im lookiin for? Thanks for any help.

I have an Omega and shoot both 200 and 250 gr. Shockwaves w/ 110 grs. of 777. They both shoot 1" groups @ 100 yds. The 200 gr. bullets run about 2100 fps over my chronograph. I have shot them extensively out to 200 yds. and the bullet drop for the 200 Shockwave  is as follows.
50 yds +2", 100 yds. +3", 150 yds.  -0-, 200 yds. -6" ....  Shooting 100 grs. should not make much difference. Smacked a big doe in Delaware last friday @ 148 rangefinder measured yds and held right on, dropped her in her tracks. I love the 200's for deer.
