scope rings for Tikkas Whitetail Hunters
« on: October 14, 2006, 04:51:42 AM »
I have a Tikka Continental, Whitetail Hunter,  in a .223, and a Tikka Whitetail Hunter in a .308.  Could I use a set of quick disconnect rings so I could use the scope on either firearm.  The action is the same, length of pull is the same.  If so my Bushnell 4200 Elite 4-16 could pull double duty.  If this seems possible what manufactuer would offer those rings?  I thought Warne might but I don't know for sure?   Thanks  Buckfever

P.S.  Bye the way if you like the Tikka's you would really like the older Tikka Continental. Heavy  barrel wood and blued Ultra Tack Driver.  It's not a carry gun but man does it shoot varmints!!!!!!!  I was also offered in a .270 for all you stand hunting bean field specialists!   Just a little blast from the past........

Thanks , Jon.  I am still waiting to confirm the Moose hunt for next year.  When that happens we will need to talk about a low power scope with good eye relief for the 9.3x62 CZ 550.  Talk to you in December after hunting season is about over.   Bob
