Quality Control is UP
« on: October 17, 2006, 04:14:09 AM »
I finally got the new 223 last night.
It was worth every penny. I thought I liked my 25-06.
I set it next to my two year old 25-06 and they look like different gun makers made them.
The fit and finish is soooooo much better.
The wood is nicer and darker. The lockup is flawless. Fast or slow it doesn't care.
Extractor feels much smoother than the ejector!

If any one has ever owned a handi and not liked them
please take the time to see a new one.

Sorry I havn't shot it yet. I'm saveing for a scope.
any suggestions?

Most any good quality scope will work...a .Meuller Eradicator comes to mind as a very good choice for the money...

Muellers are great scopes I have the Extreme 3-10x44 on my NEF 45-70 barrel and a Eradicator 8.5-25x50 on Remington 25-06.  They are great scopes for the money my only complant with them is that they have a shorter eye relief then most scopes, so needless to say I have been scoped a few times with my 45-70 and hot loads...lol
