Ok....
The Load(s) - 130 gr Barnes TSX & 130 gr Win SP bullets. Using 53 gr's of IMR4350, cci 200 large rifle primers, and new Win brass.
I loaded up some 130 gr softpoint Winchester & Some Barnes 130 gr Triple shock bullets from my Weatherby MK-V in 270 Win.
The 130 gr softpoints grouped real nice at 100 yds, but the Barnes weren't quite so nice. Not real bad, but not like the cheaper bullets....
Any thoughts on which direction to go on the Barnes bullets. These are quite expensive bullets, and I'm hoping to dial it in without shooting up a whole box of them.... More/less powder, faster/slower powder?? The 53 gr of IMR4350 with the 130 gr bullets is always mentioned as one of those "great loads".
First pic is my group at 100 yds using the Win bullets. (These are the bag of 100, inexpensive flat base, softpoints.)
