My new Beretta Vertec+ round life
« on: October 19, 2006, 04:20:03 AM »
I just bought a new Beretta Vertec and I was wondering why the Beretta has such a low round life? I mean a Glock has about 500,000 round life easy, and a 1911 even more, so why does Beretta only rate there pistols at 35,000 rounds??

That is the number of shots the military tests stop at. They have to shoot 35,000 shots with no problems at all. The military will not test above 35,000 shots. At Beretta they shot the M9's 168,000 shots with zero malfunctions.

Hope this helps,
