I was looking for a barrel for my Handi and was wondering if this new conversion kit was junk and not needed?

I have the conversion for my Omega and it works very well. Handling the .25 brass is easier than the 209 primers. In the case of the Huntsman you have to decide if handling the plastic holder or .25 brass is easier. I have just purchased the conversion for my Huntsman but have not had enough time with the plastic holders to determine which is better. I have read that the conversion makes a difference in performance and accuracy but cannot comment yet. I also understand (from some other posts) that the blowback with the .25 brass is less than with the plastic carriers.

The 25 acp conversion is a great improvment over the plastic carrier. There is no blow back at all positive igination and good accuracy. I would not go back to the plastic carrier. I will preface this with that I hand load and do not have a problem with decapping and relaoding primers. I think all is positive and little negative with th system.

I just about got the convertion kit, heard good things of the kit. I then tried some Winchester T7 209 primers. They burn real clean, no crud ring . I can use the plastic carriers that tell you the gun is primed and are easy to handel for hunting.

I've got quite a few 25ACP pieces of brass from "brass whoring". Now I know they are good for something. Looks like I need to gt another LEE LOADER in a new caliber!
Thanks for the replies.
