REMMIE IS AT IT AGAIN
« on: October 19, 2006, 12:25:19 PM »
Have you guys heard that Remmie is introducing a new chambering. It is the .17 fireball. The intoductory rifle is the 700 CDLSF.  This cartridge is based on the .221 fireball. I wonder why Remmie just not put this on the LV SF platform or the M7 ? Go Remmie!

I don't see anything on the Remington website concerning that caliber in the CDL-SF.  The website only shows one caliber so far in that Model, the .30-06 100 yr Anniversary Edition.

Yes and Remmie just renamed the MachIV. Proably changed the shoulder or neck or something so they do not have to pay asnyone royalities. Most likely will not see iit listed till the 2007 product line is made public. This should be a great addition for the predator/fur/varmint hunter. Not knocking it just reporting what little i have found out. Later!
