Bushnell Illuminated 3-9x40 and 3-9x50 vs. Burris LRS?
« on: October 19, 2006, 12:49:04 PM »
Hi there,

Has anyone used or looked through either of these scopes in the dark? The Burris is about 2 1/2 times as expensive, so I assume it's much better glass, but you never know; Bushnell has a solid reputation for value. Does anyone know if the Bushnell is a decent scope? Is the Burris really that much better? This is for night hunting pigs; the shooting should be at 60 - 90 yards.

Thanks

Ihave had bad luck with 2 of the 3 Burrius scopes I`ve owned. I won`t buy anything other than Leupold. They don`t cost that much more and the piece of mind I get is worth it.
