Where to start????

Any suggestions on loads to start with for a Huntsman??? My main gun is in the shop waiting for Boyds to make good with a stock they screwed up  >:(  and I'm going to use my Huntsman which I've yet to fire a bullet thru. Any help would be appreciated. I'll hang up and listen... ;D

Start simple

My favorite deer load is simple. 80gr loose 777 with 240gr hp in 44 or 45 sabot and 209 primer. I have been to the range so many times watching as others use 150gr solid 777 with BIG flames. I get great 100 yd groups and fine kills with a simple load.

I'm using 100grs loose T7 3f and a kleenbore primer and 285gr sabot spitfire.  After using your huntsman it may be your main gun now.  Mine outshoots every gun I own. With the above load.

The one I have is about 4-5 yrs old...my nephew shot it twice and put it away and then decided it was too much work to shoot so I bought it from him. I'm pretty darn sure it was before the magnum charge barrels so I'm guessing staying below 90gr loose 777 would be the safe thing to do ?

I like W-W 209 primers, 100 grains of Pyrodex Powder and 250 grain Shock-Wave bullets. Good Luck!
