accuracy of 460 with 5 inch barrel

Is the 460 with a 5 inch barrel as accurate as the 8 ¾ inch barrel?  I will put a scope on it.

no reason why itshouldn't be. barrel length has no bearing on accuracy. longer sight radius makes it easier to shoot accurately. if you scope it, sight radius is negated.

Scott is absolutely right, not to mention that all guns are individuals, I have 4" guns that out shoot 8 3/8" guns.  You just never know.  I do tend to favor the shorter guns for carrying.  Good luck either way.

Mine shoot every bit as accurate as my 7.5 inch PC model.

Thanks for your input.  I purchased the 8 3/8 barrel because I didn't like the scope lens being so close to the end of the barrel.
