Here's a video that you will enjoy. Have fun. Analyze, criticize, or just marvel.

I'm still trying to figure out who shot it.

Wow!!! I would say one of those hunters is very lucky he didn't get shot. That wouldn't happen in Kansas. We don't have a hill that high!!!!!  boomer

I,m suprised no one was killed , and I don,t mean by the pig. Those guys hunting methods could definitely use some work.

Great video,

But I do believe as well that those hunters were not experienced pig hunters.
Thanks for the look at the clip.

Hooo Boy!  It looked like the guy shooting was getting really close to the fellow behind the piggie!  I bet a change of underwear all 'round was necessary.

I am very disgusted with the "shooters" in that video.  I can't call them "hunters" because hunters would have never conducted themselves that way.  Those three are akin to the Three Stooges.  I am very surprised that none of the people were shot.

In my opinion, the shooter who were uphill and kept shooting after their buddy was obviously in or near their line of fire .... they need to be tracked down, have their firearms confiscated, be banned from ever owning any other forearm, ever, then be tied to a tree and whipped. I'm feeling kind of merciful tonight.

Wow I am ashamed that none of you realize how sound and video work.  First of all there are lots of angle maniipulation, sound travel that you are not considering. You also have no idea who was shooting and when.  How many of you honestly, other than the guy that talks about a catch dog, has really ever shot a hog.  I have been on plenty of hog hunts in which several very close and fast shots have had to be taken.  Palmeto patches are thick and dangerous.  They were hunting hogs the right way.  several people with guns.  The hog on the side of a steep hill did not just say "here i am shoot me".  It made an attacking move.  If you have seen what a pig can do you would know this is a very stress full sitiuation. They made great great shots.  IF this would have been a guy attacking with knives everyone would be saying how great of shots they were.  That hog is more dangerous and harder to hit.

The guy with the pistol probably saved his friend some seroius pain and injury.  By the way how else would all of you hunted that hog.  On the bottom of that steep hill with long range guns.

touche' to the hog hunter with a catch dog.    You should have a 24 inch nylon rope as well.
LUCK when preperation meets opportunity.

Well I've shot several of  them. But I sure wouldn't get on the side of a steep hill with 3 panicked guys firing guns trying to get another one. A pair of binoculars and a decent rifle located at the bottom of the hill would have worked just fine. And it would have been a whole lot safer. There isn't a hog in the world that's worth my getting shot.

I don't think I would've liked to be the guy that was down range of the other guy shooting, he's lucky he wasn't shot....good video overall though

Opinions aside...that's a pretty sweet video.

And yes I have killed hogs.  Up close and far away.  No, I don't like shooting my friends, well not most of them.

prebanpaul, I might be the only one here that is on your side.  None of us were there and the video probably makes this scarier than what it actually was.  I would have gone up the hill after the hog.  More exciting than sitting at the bottom and shooting the hog from a long ways away with scoped rifle.  There is alway meyhem when an animal charges.

Hmm, I don't know.  Kind of hard to tell what the angle involved was with the shooters in relation to the guy who fell down the hill. I don't know why the first guy didn't open up on it anyway, you can tell that he saw it coming.  Even if he didn't hit it, maybe it would have stopped or turned around.  I'd like to hear what the guy who fell had to say afterwards.  If it had been me, yeah, I'd have been ticked about people shooting in my direction, but I would have been more upset (I think) if one of my hunting buddies got gored because he was afraid to shoot because my dumbass fell down the hill.

I just thought that it appeared to happen quite quickly and it is easy for me to look at the video from my house and say what they did wrong but it might have  felt a lot different on that hillside and being charge by an animal is a whole different scenario that what most hunters experience.
