Tracker 1 range report
« on: October 21, 2006, 11:42:07 AM »
Took my new Tracker 1 out this pm   and tried out some foster slugs in it.  First off let me say that the factory front sight is very high and it has plenty of material for some judicious filing. But go slow ,shoot a group, file a little, shoot another, file a little more, you get the picture. ok   So even in a fairly stiff wind  I got it shooting centerat 50 yds, with both Rem., and WW , about a 2 1/2 in. group with each. Federals printed like buckshot, they opened up to about 8 inches. I shot 4 boxes adjusting the front sight (Rem) then shot 2 boxes of each comparing group size. (Rem.,WW,and Fed.)Because of the windy conditions I didn't try to go beyond 50 yds.
