Help Finding
« on: October 22, 2006, 08:36:51 AM »
I'm always tiring to find easier ways to haul deer from the kill spot to the cleaning rack. I read somewhere about a canvas hammock gizmo that ties on to the front rack of a 4wheeler, then the other end to a tree. Then the deer is dragged on to the canvas tarp. Then the 4wheeler is backed up until the tarp is tight enough to roll the deer on to the front rack. Sounds slick as all get out. I've looked until I can't stand it any more. But I can't find any info or pictures about buying or building one.

Has anyone seen what I'm talking about?

Sounds slick, cheap, and easy to me. I'd love to buy or build one.

Hmmmm...indeed. That is a slick idea. There has to be lots of ways to make it work cheaply!

What if a guy bought  a 100 feet of cheap nylon, predrilled holes in 2x2's or even 1x2's and fed the line thru tying them off making a a hammock/ladder type device.

The problem with hammocks are they are tippy, but if it was tied off on 3 ends, the ATV being one end and two seperate trees being the other ends it would be more stable.
