When did Mitchel produce those? I have a P-08 Luger made by Mitchel and love it. Does it have a transfer bar or coil hammer springs?

The Mitchel's were an Itialian produced Colt clone in the middle 70's.  I believe that they and Navy arms were among the eariler clones that were available just before Uberiti and the others geared up to make them more easily available in the U.S.  The ones I have seen have all had brass grip frames on them.  44 Man

The Mitchell Colts were made by Uberti, and they were definitelythe rejects of the learning curve.  Many I looked at had irregular spacing between the cylinder lock notches so not all the chambers lined up with the barrel, and most were out of time to start with....

Uberti guns of that period were much better made wearing the Navy Arms label.

It seems Uberti sold guns of different quality and specs to different importers, depending on what the importer required.  I believe that Uberti guns are good now, but I don't have much confidence in the early ones.  Those imported by Cimmaron always seemed to be of the highest quality.  US Firearms, which are definately of very high quality, started out building guns from Uberti parts built to their specifications.  They now produce their guns in house.  44 Man
