BSA reddot

Hi all,
Does anyone have an opinion of the BSA reddot pd30bk? I may be ordering a new NEF sportster and would like to put a cheap scope or reddot  on it. I know nothing about scopes so any info is appreciated. I can get the pd30bk for $25. or are there better options in that price range?
