thats the beauty of the 30-30 in the handi , you can use bullets like the noslers . those 125 grain
ballistic tips are great performers on game also . i have taken coyotes and whitetail deer with them .

Yes, these darlings do shoot good! I have both H&R Toppers and NEF SB2 30-30s. I have found the older H&Rs with the cut rifling usually group better with cast, but they all do well. Another bullet that does very well is the Hornady 130s. They group well and are very effective on deer sized game.

Thanks Tim!!!, I have a nickname some calll me and it's "Andy the answer man". It's because I can usually find out whatever info is needed, however you really deserve that moniker....<><.... :)

P.S. - I just dug out those bullets and checked them out, I was going from memory and was correct on the 140 grain. Further check reveals they are Barnes X bullets manufactured 6/15/98 from lot #914-15. I called Barnes and checked with tech support and they were very helpful. I'm good to go now.
Tim, the loading info you supplied is going to be very helpful with these bullets, I am printing it out to keep for reference....<><.... :)
