i have purchased mike's instructions, stones, tools, and springs.  so far i have done 4 encore trigger jobs and have been pleased with the results.  Instructions are easy to follow, just take it slow and easy.

I`ve put in to of Mike`s trigger springs and love them. His direction are ok, but don`t go any farther than the trigger spring. He has you stripping the gun clear down and the hammer spring can be a pain and there is no need to take it out. Don`t coun`t on the springs being exactly the pull you ordered, he does say that the spring will very from frame to frame. I got the litest springs he had and 1 came out at abt 1 lb. and the other abt 8 oz. I like very lite triggers and these are on guns I hunt with, but most people don`t like hunting triggers that lite.

I only live 15 minutes from Bullberry so i have  the gals there do mine. They make all their own springs and are quick.

I had E. Arthur Brown in Alexandria, MN tune my G2 Contender this summer.  They did a good job!  The charge is $50 for the work and the total bill with shipping and taxes was $61.00  I had to ship the frame to them, but that was only about $10.  Quick turn-around time too.

I used a Trapper Spring Kit I got at Natchez shooting supplies for $13.00.  Followed you know who's instructions, which scare you for no reason.  They talk about that one spring flying to parts unknown but it does not have enough tension on it to fly anywhere when assembling.  I changed the trigger spring only and used the heaviest one in the Trapper Kit.
