« on: November 01, 2006, 07:22:21 AM »
saturday we loaded up three of my bulldog x catahoula crosses and one of kennys cur crosses, all four dogs are only 8 or 9 months old and had not been on a hog in the woods, we run into alittle running boar (150lbs) it took the dogs about 15 minutes to stop him, but stop him they did, i mean shutdown city, caught and tied the hog, put him in a pen with 7 foot panels, ten minutes later he jumped out, guess we get to catch him again,,dang .anyway me and kenny was so proud of the pups we both forgot to take pictures, there will be a next time!!!!

Did someone say Jack Russels?   We love those little dogs, and used to have a few.   I have no dogs now but sure considered getting a new JR.   Are you taking them on hog hunts?  I know they are tough, but how do they do on hog hunts?   I saw a show where they suse them in Africa for trailing wounded plains game.   My old JR used to give heck to anything furry in our yard.  She did in several of the neighbors cats that thought they were tough enough to cross our yard.

I've got three. Had 11 but gave all the pups away. Curdog got two of em but, one was supposed to go to Alvin a friend. Neither curdog or Alvin have the nerve to take the pup away from curdog's wife. He's doomed to be spoiled rotten.
