Reloading componets aren't less exspensive up here, but mail order isn't that bad, except for powder, haz mat fees make that a local purchase only. The 375 on down are very common up here, 40 cal and up does have some selection of componet bullets and brass, but selections are limited, and prices are high. Still, 50 cases of 416 Rigby would last you a long time. The other option would be to have a 416 Taylor put together. I think with 350 gr bullets @ 2500 fps it would an outstanding bear gun, but then again, the 458 win mag can do the same thing, and is just as shootable as a 375 H&H.
Since I started re-loading for the 500 Jeffrey, most other calibers seem to be quite inexspensive to load for.
With 81 days to go, that means you'll only miss out this fall as a resident hunter, but qualify for next year, though does gouge you for the non-res fishing permit next summer.
