Model 94 ramp site

It has 4 notches for varying the shooting distance.  Someone refresh me on what notch for what distance, etc.

Any such sight must be adjusted to the user, it's not a mechanical thing you can set and forget.  In other words, take it to a range and zero it as best you can for the distance you plan to shoot.

Of course, but I was curious to what the 'default' ranges suggested were.  I would guess 50 yrds would be the out of the box setting...maybe.

Got it sighted in.  Lowest ramp setting is good at 100 yds now.  I wonder what increment then next step up on the ramp is?

You can figure that out using some trig. it is just two triangles. a narrow one from the front to the rear sight and another one from the from sight to the target. just measure the height of the step and figure out how that changes the other side of the triangle. just remember to change all units to inches.
