Is an interesting thought but the overall pace of this forum right now would still (IMO) support both.
Seems that in my short 3 to 4 years here, the Predator hunters would post strongly in the fall all the way up to March then the subject would switch to Varmint hunting along with custom rifles, who build them, or how to build your own, would take over as the popular post. These post were very light this spring & summer. Do you suppose that high gasoline prices and limited trips had something to do with this?
A lot of the Varmint hunters were Predator hunters of course and would be setting up their rifles to switch from ground squirrels to Fox & Coyotes. Had lots of great discussions on calibers and bullet types. Always had a few asking about the .22LR and had constructive arguments on the .22WMR or the newer .17HMR as everyone was getting ready to GO!
This has been light as I said already, I do expect for it to improve…but I think we are ok with this one forum till the posting picks up.
