Pro Hunter 26" barrel

I'm sorry if this has been discussed but I didn't find anything about it.  I bought a new Pro Hunter muzzleloader today.  It has a 26" barrel instead of the 28".  It is identical to the 28" except for being shorter.  It has the new breech, fluting, and has Pro Hunter engraved on top of the barrel.  Has anyone else seen or have a 26" barrel on their Pro Hunter?  The box says Pro Hunter 26" bbl.  The gun shop I bought it from just recieved 15 Pro Hunters and they were all this way.  I thought they were only offered in 28".

Mine is 28 inches from the top of the barrel to the end. But if you measure it from the breech plug forward it is 26 inches.

You have a 28" barrel.  Mine is not.  It is 26''.  The box says Pro Hunter 26" bbl and if you compare it to my other encore muzzleloader with a 26" barrel, they are the same length.

All the ones I have seen are 28 inch.  I guess they changed up the barrel length.

I called TC this morning and they told me they are making the Pro Hunter muzzleloader with 26" and 28" barrels.  They are also making the Pro Hunter with blued barrel and action now.  They told me the 26" barrel Pro Hunter has only been made for the last few weeks.

I just spoke with TC and they told me if I wanted a pro hunter blue barrel it has to be 26" all the 28" barrels are SS.  so I guess I will have a ss barrel and blue receiver.  might look pretty cool.
