is this normal?

Just a quick question,  Sent my rifle in to add the 25.06 barrel.  I sent it August 3rd.  We are now pushing 14 weeks.  I understand that they are out of that barrel.  Is this something that I should be expect next time I send it in?  They have never given me a definate date , I have ben told a couple more weeks now since the eight week....Is this normal?

It's not normal that they would be out of a barrel, but that happens from time to time depending on the demand for the particular barrel. It happened to me when I ordered my first .25-06 barrel, and they were out of .30-30 barrels for about 6 months at one time which was a real bummer. They may not know when the barrel order will be shipped from the manufacturer, so they can't tell you when you'll get it.
