777 loose powder or pellets

I have a Encore and just purchased Dead center bullets, 44cal 260 grain bullets, 44cal is smallest you can use in Indiana. Gun dealer says to use 100 grains 2 pellets  of 777 but I have talked to others and they say to use 100 - 120 in loose 777 powder. I am also going to use Winchesters 209 777 primers. Has anyone used these with pellets? I have heard you have alot of miss fires.Where should I start with my loads?

Because I like to try different loads, I prefer 777 loose powder. I premeasure 80gr or whatever into small plastic sealed containers. When loading, I just pour the contents down the barrel and load whatever bullet. Using 209 primers, I have never had a misfire in my Huntsman or in an inline TC. My experience shows 80 to 90gr  with a 240gr or heavier 44 or 45 cal. sabot gives great (2in groups) at 100yds. and always gave a one shot kill. I just like the dependability and flexability of this combination.

You should not have a problem with shooting triple 7 pellets with the 777 primers. I use a 25 ACP with a small rifle primer and don't have any problems with misfires with the pellets.

I have gone to triple 7 powder only now, I get great accuracy and the cost is a lot less expensive. Also I bought 8 pounds when Wal-mart was getting rid of it's excess stock, at $8.00 a pound it hard to not shoot it.
