modern gun deer season opener tommorrow

is every1 ready for gun season?wat do all u guys hunt with? im shootin a 12 gauge with slugs and my brother in law whom im hunting with is shooting my 760 308.

guess i will hunt with a 30/30 not by first choice but tradded all my deer rifles off. next year will be 270

Good luck to all!!  I will be hunting with a Mauser in 30-06 Nosler 150 gr. Balistic tips. It will flat out put them down. If I get what I'm looking for tommorrow I'll be trying the .204 Ruger to head shoot a doe.

Well, saw six (5 doe, 1buck 4pt) passed on all. Already shot a doe in early ML so I want to try for a big boy. I've seen several on the farms where I hunt. I don't think yesterday's weather helped at all and I could only hunt in the morn. I'll get out some more this week.

i wasnt able to go saturday morning due to my brothers car broke down in morehead but i did get out sunday evening and saw a huge buck and a doe running and never had a chance. then this evening i was walking in from my house and while walking up and eatin a piece of fried chicken i jumped a doe and shot her with a 12 gauge slug 65 yards running.  she dressed out to about 115
