TC Prohunter choices
« on: November 12, 2006, 01:58:16 AM »
If I want to buy a Pro Hunter do I have to get the black powder barrel or is there some place where I can just buy the rifle in say 25-06. I am not a black powder fan but I very much liike the pro hunter. From what I have noticed it seems the Pro always comes with the black powder barrel, and then you can get other barrels after that. Thanks.

You can go to a gun shop and order the set up in a rifle configuration. The M/L is the most demanded at this time and therefor more widely distributed. I have seen them in both rifle and muzzleloader.

I just ordered a pro hunter frame only from a gun shop.  Managed to hold off on an Encore purchase for awhile now, got a few Contenders, but a need came up for a slug gun... just the excuse i needed....

As far as barrels are concerned, the standard Encore barrels will probably be the way I go...  Plenty of good used ones out there...
