As usual, read the FAQ and Help sticky!!! Look at the trigger job links, the Perklo download is best. ;)

Yeap, it's in there. Just really take your time and remember how things come apart. Don't rush through it on your first time..you will end up confused and frusterated. At least I was my first time :-X ;D
And the spring goes in what seems to be backward, but it isn't the hook on the end faces downward. Seems like it would be upward to catch on the lip of the lower part of where the trigger guard goes. If your patient, it's not too bad.

As the others indicated - take your time, buy the correctly sized punches AND dummy pin....everything is easy, if you take your time.

My first trigger job, including building the wood block jigs, dummy pin, etc....3 hours.  Last trigger job...one hour, start to finish.

It gets even better after several!! ;D Yesterday's trigger job and fitting a beefed up latch spring took just an hour!! Just a trigger job is a 30 minute job if the first hone works out. ;)

A little hint, the slave pin can be made out of a wooden dowel, it doesn't need to be metal! ;)

Quick....did you leave your phone number?  LOL!

Of note, I have not stoned either of mine.  2 1/4 to 2 1/2 pounds is perfect for my varmint rifles.  Yes, could go lower, but the polish and lube job is just right...for the hunting and target work.  We do walk the fields for some good time in the sun and to put a sneak on some wary p-dogs!

I enjoyed reading these posts guys since I recently aquired a reciever the owner had disassembled but never put back together. I am sure if I had disassembled it I could have put it back together but since I have never ventured inside any if my recievers this will be an interesting project for a cold winter night. I have been reassured all the parts are there and it worked prior to disassembly, so being a trusting sort I jumped at the opportunity to reassemble it. I knew if (when) I run into problems or have questions the many fine members here will be ready with suggestions and information....<><.... :)

P.S - info and opinions of shooting any or all of the following, .22 Hornet, .357 Mag/Max, or a 30-30 barrel fitted to a SB1 (2004 Huntsman) reciever, in addittion to a regular ML barrel?

well i printed off the instruction for disassembling the reciever.. it looks like something i can do, i think i'll use aluminum for the temp pins and wood for the backer plate though.. man, i love handi's !... can i hear some opinions on the Choate stocks ? im planning a build up using the tamer stock and the survivor forend, and duro-coating the reciever and barrel ( maybe a OD green or desert brown ).. but wanted to be sure of the quaility of the Choate stocks and my ability to take apart the reciever innards first.. what lets here some though ( from more experienced handi-holics then myself ) on my build up
