Just a tip - use FMJ instead of HP bullets so you don't damge too much meat.  ;D

One things for sure, if the squirrel runs around to the other side of the tree, you could just shoot the tree down. That should do it, but I'm afraid that there wouldn't be much squirrel left for the meat pot. ;)
