A .257 Roberts or a .250 Savage.

It seems to me that they could release a couple hundred special edition rifles in less popular but still in demand calibers that use bore sizes they already have for only a pittance over the cost of the standard chamberings.  If they did this once a year, I think they would all be sold before they hit the dealer's shelves.

The belted magnums are a no go pressure wise.

Given that the parent company, Remington,  is pimping the .300 BLK and has had the 6.8 SPC out for several years; you would think that having a .308 or a .277 bore, it wouldn't be too hard to send Bubba around the other side of the building to borrow some chambering reamers. Might take him most of the day to walk there and back but they'd have the reamers to go with the barrels they already stock......................................................

But, again, we're talking about dealing with modern American management that cannot see past this quarter's results.  ::)

The .260 Remington should also be easily doable. Give Bubba a cart to push this time since barrels are heavy and have him bring back some .264 barrel blanks and a .260 Remington chambering reamer. Voila! We'd have the .260 also.

6.5 Creedmoor
...which is 6.5 x 250 Savage "Hornady Improved"

It's hard to figure how it would be better than a 260 Remington in a Handi,
    ...but it really works.

The TM should be available in 32-40 as well as 38-55 (but hey, they dropped the 38-55 'cause not enough were being sold, so......).
The 357 Max should be a no brainer.
The 6.5 x 55 about the same.
Rescind that silly barrel availability/fitting 'rule'; if they have 'em for new rifles they should be available for fitting.
I would like to refer management to the concept of,'respond to your customer base'......duh; it has long been known in marketing that it is easier/cheaper to keep a customer than develop a new one.

Bring back the .38-55 TC.
Add a .30-30 HC (Hunter Classic) with a 26" barrel.
a 6.5 something....260, 6.5 Creedmore, 6.8 SPCII, 6.5x55.
Add more barrels to the ultralight family. Some of us would like a small, light rifle in a heavier caliber.
I see no reason not to add the old military calibers...7x57, 6.5x55, 7.62x54. I'd but the first two right away.
They are already doing the .500 S&W, add the .460. And bring back the .357 Max as a factory option.
Create a "Handi-Holics Custom Shop". If I want a 16.5" lightweight .30-30 with BC wood, all I should have to do is fill out the form, attach my check and FFL info and wait for "Bubba" to push his cart across the building to knock it out.
Bring back iron sights as an option on ALL barrels.
Lower the damn hammer to make scope mounting easier. The current hammer is fine for a shotgun, but a PITA on the rifle.

Didn't they sell every one they made???  Sounds like they sold pretty well??

Second the 375 Winchester.  as well as a bunch of others listed here.

How about the 225 Winchester
Maybe a couple of "wildcats" the 25 Krag and the 35 Krag.

A 6.8 Rem spc would be an excellent round for the handi. Grand daughter used one in a Savage I rebarreled to take her first deer low to no recoil and the new 120 gr Hornady sst round is deer killing machine. A youth/ ladies model would be excellent.

I'd definately second the   250 Savage!  I want a .25 but not all the buck and roar of the 25-06.
Also the 6.5 x 55   Or as the gentleman said, barrels bored in those bore sizes so we can chamber our own ctg!  44 Man

I like the idea of a TC  in .30-30.

Remington should also consider chamberings that could be made into other calibers with nothing more than a reamer and ejector change.

  Also a bull barrel .223 w/ a 1:9 twist.

Ditto on the non-chambered rifles in all the bore sizes!  That'd be dang cool.  In heavy, standard, and light.  Make 'em long too, that way if someone is gonna go to the trouble of chambering they can have it cut to the length they want.
