Most of my favorites have already been mentioned. I fail to understand the draw of most modern cartridges in this platform, very high pressure cartridges are not as well adapted to break action, and frankly, there are many inexpensive bolts that are stronger and more accurate in general as well as now CHEAPER.
I have thought that the Idea of  having various bore diameter barrels, and you order them with a particular chamber is a fabulous idea. It would NOT present a liability as you would have to order them from a menu that the factory knew was safe.
That being said, there are some that I would especially like to see, actually- "families" , that are based on the same case.
218 Bee/ 25/20   / 32/20
219 Zipper= 25/35  = 7x30 Waters =  30/30  = 32/40 =357 Herrett  = 375 (38/55)

 30/40 Krag, 405 Winchester, 40/70 Winchester.

Also, since barrel blanks are pretty long, why not offer them in 4 " increments for a reasonable  charge? 16-20-24-28-32"? They have to be long enough to make a BC @ 32" to start with, and 26" for 25/06 & 280, so have a base price, plus chamber charge and cut & crown to one of the above lengths.

Second the 375 Winchester.  as well as a bunch of others listed here.

Can't you fire a 375 in a 38/55?   on an SB2 frame, a 38/55 could be loaded up to 375 pressures?

Ditto on the non-chambered rifles in all the bore sizes!  That'd be dang cool.  In heavy, standard, and light.  Make 'em long too, that way if someone is gonna go to the trouble of chambering they can have it cut to the length they want.

Yeah...   32" standard barrels!

I'd like that!

260 Please !! I'd love to get my hands on a 260 for my daughters first rifle. Might end up just rebarreling a Remmy or Savage, but would love a Handi in this caliber.

Hey Remington
Why don't y'all do a pre pay run on special calibers?
I'll send in my $ 100 deposit for my choice in round ,
say a 7x57 , and when you get 100 other deposits
for the same round you can call me for the rest of the
money and ship it to my FFL.
May take months or years but I'd get what I wanted
and Remington gets guarenteed money.
Sounds good to me.

I'd like to see calibers like 17 Hornet, 32-20, 25-20, 218 Bee, 25-35, 32 H&R.  These could all be limited runs like the 45 LC Classic Carbine and have the barrels available for the barrel program.  metal parts to replace the plastic. Lower hammer spur. Better fit and finish -

OK, heres my wishes.  I love the Buffalo Classic, I own two; but I wish it was a bit fancier.  Ive said this before, if the barrel release lever had some rollover like a sidelever shotgun and the hammer had some flair the gun would look more 19th century.  While your at it how bout a tang sight option and and brass trigger guards
Ditto.

Lets have a few more fancies for us Western fans. Look at the Shiloh Quigley 45-110 for inspiration at an affordable price.

As OSOK said, lower the hammer and I would like to add, tap it for a screw in style hammer extension rather than the significantly larger and heavier add on type we have to use now.

I also vote for the blank barrels that can be chambered in many rounds.

You know it seems like this kind of stuff should be a no brainer type ah-ha moment for companies.  I wanted a 35 caliber for the MS primitive weapons season, did not and do not want all the issues with the Whelen rounds but at the same time wanted a bit more oomph and flatter trajectory than what the factory 35 Rem gives which then pointed me to the 356/358 Winchester.  Yes, I do reload and know that I am able to get more out of the 35 Rem with the loads Tim came up with using RL7 which is what I am living with now, but I still intend to make the rifle a 356 at some point in order to have a rimmed cartridge.

Guess that would be my major suggestion to H&R/Remington, focus on rimmed cartridges.  The other thing would be to ask that they pay closer attention to the trigger mechanism.  I am determined to fix mine without having to resort to disabling the t-bar system and believe they could do the same.

As long as we're wishing, how about a .327 Magnum barrel?

And maybe an H&R/NEF 'semi-custom shop', where you could have an unchambered barrel fitted and have them cut the chamber to order.  If they could do something like this for, say, $300 per barrel, I think they'd secure a viable market niche.

I'll add a +1 or whatever to a .25-20...  Then I'd get 2 one to leave as is and the other would be reamed to .25-35 WCF...

I read the first couple pages and the last one and perhaps others have said this in the dozen pages between, but isn't stuff like stock fitment and metal trigger guards what keeps these things seperated from the price class of encores? Certainly not trying to defecate in anyones wheaties. But I'd say more choices in barrel contours and nicer models isn't too much to ask. And theres never anything wrong with more choices in chamberings!
I hate when i miss. But when I do, I can always come up with a reason why.

Upscale the fit and finish at home if you want,
but keep corporate focused on function.

give us a custom shop for
                                         calibers
                                         chambers
                                         barrel length
                                         sights

Give Brian a room full of blanks and we'll keep him busy

make the buffalo classic (styling, materials, build) available in other calibers (38-55, .357mag, .44mag, .243, .222, .22hornet, etc) and 24"-28" barrel lengths.

offer the current 45-70 buffalo classic with better sights (blade front and williams FP-H&R-TK rear).
