.223 Ultra HB... add a 7mm08 barrel??

Bought my daughter a heavy barrel ultra laminated in .223 last year. She has gooten very proficient with it...
Now she is ready for a medium bore; I'm thinking a 7-08 from the barrel accessory program.

BUT......  Will I need to order a new forearm? Isn't the 7 barrel a smaller diameter than the HB 223?

If so, anyone know if NEF offers the laminated forearm to fit the 7?

All barrels with the exception of the USH and superlight, are pretty much the same diameter at the forend and use the same forend, the bull barrels have very little taper and the sporting barrels have a bit more beyond the forend, but at the forend are pretty much the same. I swap forends all the time depending on what barrel I'm putting on, the sporting or bull contours aren't an issue.

All forend styles are listed in the 2005 Retail Parts Price list in the FAQ and Help sticky.
