I bought a Model 70 Classic w/Timney trigger and bedded barrel.
I have only one option in-stock to roll a few test rounds with: I have some 180 SPBT Hornady Interlock's and a pound of 4350 powder.
Are those a good choice or do I need to buy another powder as a first choice. I only plan on shooting 180 grainers from this gun, although I may go to Barnes or Swift to develop an Elk load in the future.
I need to know a powder for 180 grain bullets that can push 2900 fps without compression and has good accuracy.
Thanks - perklo
