Trying to figure grains to ounces conversion please advise.

Hi All

Trying to figure this out for loading buckshot.

There is 7000 grains to a pound

There are 16 ounces to a pound

So if I divide 7000 by 16 I get 437.5 grains to an ounce

Is this correct?

AAAND!;.....  16 drams to an ounce.  That come to 27.344 grains per dram.  (27.34375!!)

If you're loading 00 Buck, just figure each pellet = 1/8 ounce.
