CZ-DW

I read recelntly that CZ is now making DanWesson revolvers. Has anyone examined these revolvers? Im wondering what quality they are compared to original DanWessons. Also would it be cheaper to find a non-CZ DW or CZs  version?

CZ purchased Dan Wesson and all of the Norwich, NY manufacturing, Most if not all of the same employees are still working there I have not seen any CZ guns but I have heard they are of the same or better quality of the last DW Norwich guns made. You will find the older guns cheaper on the auction sites.

I bought a used DW 445 super mag made in Norwich, NY ayear ago for $600 here in Portland, OR. It has the 4" barrel(5 1/2" w/ comp. shroud).  New ones go for over a $1000. So $700 for a once fired sounds like a great deal. I love mine, have only shot 44 mags thru it but accuracy is great for a short barrel.  The great thing is you can get different barrel lengths from CZ-DW for around $250. I am planning on getting an 8" barrel soon. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input. I gave $600.00 for the 357 Super Mag, but that was several years ago and I like it very much.
