i hope this post is in the right place. I found a good deal  for 125$ with scope out the door. Is this a good price for it. i ve found new one for 149$. and what are they good for? (plinking, hunting etc.)  :P

Hi-point is not the most "NAME BRAND" weapon in the world
but those little Carbines are really neat. I ordered another one about
4 months ago and they were on a two month back order.
Must be selling a lot of them !
I wanted a black one not the Camo.. (those look kind of silly to me, Toy like)
I wish they held more rounds though. There is an aftermarket 15 rounder
but reviews I have read about it were not flattering ! These were designed so that
folks of lesser means could afford a decent weapon for self defence.
I think they advertised them as a "Working mans Gun" They fit this description pretty well !
I have read from folks who have fired many many more rounds through them than I have
with no Jams whatsoever. Not bad in my opinion.
Nice Avatar ! Being from Georgia I have several of those myself.
I am just glad we no longer have that GOOFY LOOKING blue flag !!!
Still not the Stars and Bars though !

I have the 4095 (same gun, just in 40 S&W).  They are pretty fun to shoot.  $125 out the door with a scope is a really good deal.  Their price is starting to go up on the auction sites, and the retailers are sure to follow shortly.

The only down-side to them is the magazine.  It would have been nice if they would have done what Kel-tec did and allow for the big-brand high capacity mags to be used.

I've fired quite a few boxes through mine, and can't remember ever having a jam.  Like I said, they are fun to shoot.  If you get a chance, go ahead and buy 3 or 4 extra mags for it.

Kool, Well after some debet, I went ahead a got it. not a bad looking gun in a ugly sort of way. lol. Had some old luger ammo shot through it.After 100 rds no jam. Have yaw seen the stock from Ati. May just go ahead and get  it. Cool looking stock. I like the old stars and bars. In the town i live in they still fly the old flag. the state threnten if they didnt take it down they would suspend funds for the county. Thanx for the input guys

I've seen the stock...and thought about getting it.  BUT, I like the "that's one ugly gun" reaction I get from folks when I put it out on the range.  It's kinda like that ugly girl at school...if she weren't so danged ugly, nobody would give her a second look.
