Had no luck this deer season, was sick with whatever's going around along with no patience to stay in the woods. However, I can attest to the fact that a plug of wax propelled by a primer is quite deadly to mice at 12".
happy hunting,

make a very hot tea from lemon balm (bulk lemon balm leaves) or something similar, pour in two shots of VSQ brandy, drink while hot and climb under the covers.
it helped me along with the other things i did. the sweat just ran off me!
besides: this will help to cure your "brandy deficiency"
