I was looking at laser dot scopes for my daughters Crickett 22.... but Im not sure if they will work out. The ones I saw at the local bass pro said they had 100 yard parallax setting. How much of a problem would that be for an 8yr old that plinks mainly in the 10- 20 yard range? What size dots should I get? I know nothing about laser dot scopes.
The factory peep/post sight gave her fits, I stuck an old Simmons rimfire scope on it and she does well with that but the dang thing is 1/3 the length and weight of the whole rifle.
