Blackhawk 45 colt to get the nod

Sat. after turkey day, I'll take the colt out on it's virgin first! ;) With a 7.5 " barrel and using 240 gr. XTP being pushed by 22.5 gr of Lil Gun, I'm hoping I can do my part and take my 1st deer with a handgun.  ;D Also, I got a new stand today that faces the tree and I'll load it on the carrier so I don't have to go track the deer and then go to the truck to get the carrier. The old legs and body let me know Sat. to consolidate. The place I'll hunt is very thick and I'm hoping to nail one with the Blackhawk. ;)

   Know what you mean about old legs, just got back for whitetail hunt here in Idaho. Afraid the mountians are about to tall for me. Hope someday to get a shot at a whitetail for a treestand. Would like a report of your hunt, wife has giving me the ok to buy a 45 colt. Think I will get one with a 5.5 barrel so it will be easier to carrie on horseback Good luck on the hunt Ol Grizz
