Gentelmen start your cast nets, Catfish season has finally arrived in nebraska. I caught five nice channel cats last night as fast as I could get the bait to them. The weather was as soft and pleasant as any day you could ever remember in spring. It was the day you dream about all of february and march, so I scambled for the closest fishin hole I could find as soon as I escaped from work. I was using cut shad and suckers I had frozen from last weekend. I promise to take a camera next time. Any one else's cats wake up this weekend? Come on lets hear your stories. I bet there's folks out there thats been into em for a month already.
