I'm going to try to work up a good handload for my 30-06 encore for next years hunting season.  I'd really like to use the Barnes Triple Shocks in my 30-06.  I know my rifle likes the 150gr weight bullets, but I don't what powder it likes.  I've got some 180gr triple shocks laying around and some 150gr on the way.  I'm planning on loading them up using IMR 4350 unless anyone has any better suggestions.

I have had great success with 50 gr. of IMR4064 and the 150 gr. TSX in my 30-06.

You didn't say which barrel you're using.  But I got some pretty nice groups out of my 30-06 28" pro hunter barrel using 52.5 gr of IMR4320, and 150 gr Speer Sptizer's this year.  I may try some 150 gr TSX for next year.  With the longer barrel, I'm considering IMR 4831 for these rounds cause it's slightly slower burning than the 4350 or 4320.  With the additional pressure generated by the TSX's the 4350, or 4831 would be where I started.....

BTW..  I used 53 gr's of IMR 4350 for my .270 win loads with TSX's and they grouped pretty well.  Got my best groups by having a COL that put the bullet's within .005 of the lands/grooves.  Still playin with that a little.
