Sighted in my new 45-70
« on: November 24, 2006, 05:37:47 PM »
I sighted it in with Hornady's new Lever Evolution rounds.I wanted about an 8" drop at 200.I sighted it in at 25 (0.04)to start with.It the same 0 at 125 yds. These rounds were dead on every where I held them.It was -8.5 (-8.19)at 200 I couldn't ask for more .I may not take one at 200,but it's there if I need it. This Handi is pretty impressive  ;).I think I'll keep it.After playing around with 15 rounds my arm sure is feeling it. :P Happy Hunting Guys,Dave.

Thanks Joel,
I've been in this club for a few years I've had a Ruger 350 Rem., 4 45-70's, 2 444's and 1 450. Only once a year I put my arm thru this. Most of the time I never shoot off the bench.Mostly off hand when I'm playing around on paper during the year.Dave.
