Any sillouette shooters in New York

Would like to try sillhouette shooting, is there any ranges in western New York?  I live in the Finger Lake region? Can you use a 22 cal
or does it rrequire a larger cal. As you can tell, I am very new to this.

You might try this link. It will show most all of the IHMSA silhouette matches. It may be out of date at the moment, year end stuff, but it should give you an idea.

I recently sold a set of big bore targets to a guy in NY, but I can't remember where they were shipped to. Darn CRS. I'll try to find out and get back to you.

Western New York could try Bradford, PA, south of Buffalo.  Excellent range to 200 meters.  I don't have a contact or info but you could just show one weekend and try it.  Don't bring a gun, just show and act interested.  Guns and ammo are usually offered if you show interest.  You will like it.  Good luck.

Seneca Falls Rifle & Pistol Club at Waterloo used to shoot NRA Hunter Pistol Silhouette. I don't know if they still do nor do I have a contact number.

Thanks for the info. Seneca Falls is about 45 minutes away, Bradford is appr. 11/2 hrs. and cambridge is, if i remenber corredtly further east.  However SF is my first choice.

We shoot 100 yd silhouette at the Hartland Conservationists Club on Wednesday nights from 4 pm on starting in June.  We have classes for Rimfire rifle & pistol and cast bullet rifle and pistol.  Club is located about 6 miles east of Lockport NY on Orangeport Rd. about 1/4 mile off of rt 104.  Small but fairly steady group of about 20 shooters, you are more than welcome to join in.
