Both my wife and brother in law have the compact ss with laminate stock in 7mm08.  With my reloads using 140 grn barns tsx they shoot great.  My brother in law's shoots 5 shots in the size of a nickle (100yrds) and my wife's will shoot all 5 in the size of a quarter.  I have changed the triggers on both to timney to get this accuracy since the orginal was way to stiff.  Get one.

I have the compact in 308, , very handy and looks great I topped it odd with a 1.5-5x20 vxlll, shoots 1 MOA all day long at 100 yards going out to two hundred next week to see what it can do I don't reload and use factory ammo it seems to like 165-168 grain bullets......oh yeah I also put in a rifle basix trigger before i took it out to the range, the stock trigger was unusable I bet it broke at 9lbs. So buy the gun get a trigger, good glass for it and never look back
