S&W Model 41 upgrade?
« on: November 30, 2006, 12:09:48 PM »
My model 41 purchased new in 1971 is practically unused, perhaps 200 rounds have been sent down range.  Until recently a total lack of time and effort have kept me from using this tackdriver.  With that being said, no doubt that a skilled smith can improve on the excellence that this firearm already possesses.  Who are the recognized smiths that wring-out even more accuracy from this gun?  Is there anyone who believes that going to this expense is ill-advised?

Thanks,

Jay

I wouldn't know who to advise you to see but will say that the pistol likely has more accuracy than most can ever use.. Rimfires are a bit picky about ammo so perhaps trying different brands to see what the pistol prefers would be a good first step.
