What's the difference II

Can anyone tell me the difference between a 586 and a 686? Would also like an idea as to the going price of a 586 4" barrel, have been told it is unfired.. ???

The difference is blued vs. stainless steel. Dunno about prices, they really vary greatly by area and I've not bought one in a long time around here. New tho I think they are likely up around $500 or so.

Graybeard is right, But I would not go above $475 to $500 for the 586.
If  you're going to make a hole, make it a big one.
